Young Endeavour Scheme 2007 Participants

The Celebration Dinner was held on Tuesday 25 September at Club Scone. Four lucky nominees were chosen to participate in this years Voyage of a Lifetime’ from Melbourne to Sydney, departing on 12 December 2007.
Lucy Johnsen
State Age Representative Netball Division

Lucy is a State Age Representative Netballer who has developed into a great ambassador for netball in Scone.
Lucy has represented Scone for the last four years at State Age Netball and was selected as a representative in the Hunter Academy Netball Team.
Lucy shows a great deal of confidence, enthusiasm and encouragement towards the younger players and possesses a professional attitude on and off the court

Caitlyn David
Scone Grammar School |

Caitlyn is currently a student at Scone Grammar School. She is a very goal orientated and focused young lady who is well organised and responsible.
Caitlyn is an adventurous, energetic student who likes a challenge.
She has a “have a go” attitude towards life.

Chris Hill
Scone Amateur Basketball Association |

Chris is currently attending his first year at Newcastle University studying a combined Maths and Chemical Engineering Degree.
In 2006 Chris was Captain at Scone High School where his leadership, academic and sporting achievements were outstanding.
This year Chris has been awarded scholarships from both Coal and Allied and Macquarie Generation, with Macquarie Generation offering him a work placement during the christmas vacation

Liam England
Scone Landcare Inc |

Liam has participated in many working days with Scone Landcare – more than any other young person.
He is a member of Scone Venturers, having progressed through Scouts and a member of the Muswellbrook Junior Rugby Club and Aberdeen Rifle Club.
Liam attends high school at St Josephs Aberdeen while studying automotive and engineering at TAFE and working part time at Woolworths.
