SBS Radio 104.3FM Live in Merriwa

Upper Hunter Shire Council has been advised that SBS radio will be live from Tuesday 23 June 2009. The digital Television transmission is expected to be live within 7 -10 days. Council successfully applied for a grant through the SBS Self Help Subsidy Scheme, Council is also making a contribution towards the cost of the installation.
Upper Hunter Shire Council's Mayor Michael Johnsen advised the Merriwa District Progress Association and local community members have been looking to have this service available for many years. "It is great to see these additional services available to the Merriwa Community" Cr Johnsen said.
