Long Service Awards for Upper Hunter Family Day Care Carers

In recognition of their long service to Upper Hunter Family Day Care, a presentation was held on 29th September for Chris Hope of Muswellbrook, and Heather Leayr of Blandford.
Chris Hope was presented with a gold medallion and certificate for 20 years service to Family Day Care, while Heather Leayr received a silver medallion and certificate for 15 years service. Children's Services Coordinator Jenny, Wade, congratulated both carers on achieving these major milestones in their childcare careers, and their dedication and professionalism in accommodating the many changes experienced in the industry over this time to provide quality childcare services for families of the Upper Hunter.
Mayor of Upper Hunter Shire, Cr Lee Watts said, "it is this dedication and commitment to providing care for children which makes Upper Hunter Family Day Care a highly sought option for families in our area. I'd like to congratulate Chris and Heather and thank them for their service to families over this timeframe."
